Nancy S.M. Waldman

Nancy S.M. Waldman grew up in Texas, but now lives and writes from the tranquility of a 115-year-old home in the woods of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Her short fiction has been published in Fantasy Scroll Magazine, AE-The Canadian Science Fiction Review, Perihelion Science Fiction and all of the anthologies from Third Person Press—which she co-founded in 2008. She is a member of SF Canada and a graduate of Viable Paradise. This is her first story set on an imagined-future African continent, but she hopes to revisit this world again.
